The New SCHIP Tax Is Now In
Effect.
Unfortunately most of our cigars have
gone up by approximately 30 cents per cigar. We
are trying our best to stay as far below the cap of 40 cents as we can. We
are not willing to charge the 40 cents--just because we can. And we will
never increase them more than the cap--like other companies are doing.
We know this tax is going to hurt a lot
of people. Our only hope is that it is at least going to a good cause. My
grandchildren are on CHIP due to their father passing away suddenly in
December. It is a wonderful program and I am happy to do my part. I just
wish my part didn't have to include raising our prices so high.
